Terms of service
Last updated 4 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Supersonic Playground Cloud, a service run by Supersonic Playground Ltd (“we”, “us”) for hosting and looking after WordPress websites. By using it you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organisation whose workspace you use. If you have a separate signed agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.
The service
Supersonic Playground Cloud deploys, hosts, updates, backs up and monitors WordPress sites in an Amazon Web Services account that you own and connect to your workspace. It also shows traffic, performance and, if you connect a Google account, Search Console and Google Analytics figures, and produces monthly reports you can share with your clients.
We add, change and remove features over time. If we remove something you rely on, we’ll tell workspace users in advance where we reasonably can.
Your workspace and accounts
Each user needs their own account. Keep your password and two-factor codes to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. Workspace administrators decide who joins the workspace and are responsible for what its users do.
Your AWS account and costs
Your sites run in your own AWS account, so AWS bills you directly for the servers, databases, storage and traffic they use. You give us access keys so we can create and manage those resources. You remain responsible for the AWS account, including its security settings and its bill; Supersonic Playground Cloud shows estimated costs but doesn’t control what AWS charges.
If you remove our access, we can no longer deploy, update, back up or monitor your sites, but they stay in your AWS account.
Fees
Any fees for Supersonic Playground Cloud are set out in your order or agreement with us. AWS, Google and other providers you connect charge you separately under their own terms.
Your content
Your websites, their content and their data belong to you or your clients. You give us permission to copy, store and change them only as needed to run the service, for example to deploy a release, apply an update or restore a backup.
You’re responsible for having the right to host your content and for meeting the law that applies to your sites, including privacy law for your visitors’ data. Where we process your visitors’ personal data, we do so only on your instructions, as described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Supersonic Playground Cloud to host or send anything illegal, to distribute malware or spam, to attack other systems or to try to get into workspaces or data that aren’t yours. We may suspend a site or account that does, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
Connected services
When you connect Google, AWS or another provider, your use of that provider is governed by its own terms. We use data from Google APIs only as described in our privacy policy. You can disconnect a provider at any time.
Updates, backups and availability
We work to keep the service and your sites running, apply updates carefully and take regular backups, but we can’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Plugin and theme updates can occasionally break a site, so check your sites after updates. Keep your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Otherwise, we aren’t liable for lost profits, revenue, business or data, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period.
Ending the service
You can stop using Supersonic Playground Cloud at any time by removing our access to your AWS account and requesting closure from Workspace settings, after which we delete the workspace’s data within 30 days. We may close a workspace if you break these terms, or with 30 days’ notice for any other reason. Your sites, files and backups stay in your AWS account either way.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for changes that matter, email workspace users before they apply. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
